Well, I had started to move back up and had recovered four buyins as of yesterday. Not too bad considering my window for play is only a couple of hours a day and I missed a few days. I play two tables as that is my comfort level. This morning I lost two buyins, losing W/ AA PF to QQ and KJ. I was ok with the first one but after the second I figured this is a good day to mow the yard and watch a movie or something. Not discouraged as I know I will gain those back over time, but to have it happen in one session at the same table really pissed me off! LOL not really but if you think you are running bad remember this little session. And all this happened in about ten minutes.

Good luck all,

Cliff

Hey Frank,

About your club, or any place to play for that matter.

Just like any other sport or game there will always be some one a little better. Or in the case of poker better and luckier too.

The advantage that a good poker player has is that he can move to places where he has a better chance of winning.

When a fisherman has reeled up a bunch of fish in one spot and it was good he kept fishing there. When the fish stop biting he pulls up anchor and searches for a better spot.

In poker terms, some games are just too difficult to beat. You sit down and you know you are surrounded by sharks. If all the other fish are gone where does that leave you. Sharks just don't eat other sharks. They eat anything else under them in the food chain.

There will always be someone better than us at poker. The trick is to find a place, table and game where the fishing is best.

Varience is a part of the game. That's what frustrates us, but makes the glory so much better :D

This just happened in my session, within a period of 2 minutes or something:

I rather win all 3 then lose them, but I just shake my head and grind on :D

Keep your mind straight and never tilt! Tilting is expensive ;)

I totally agree about tilting. I will sigh and move on usually, or quit for awhile if I get a few close together as you experienced.

Wow that last one ouch... I was trying to figure out what hand he had, and put him on the Flush draw and stinks he hit on River.
The K 9 I don't think I would have played that one.

I appreciate the share with the hands. Yes agree Tilting is no Good.

too much b.s. and not enough reward i run awful i cant take the sukouts anymore. every time i have a couple of days wen im up i end up losing back ten fold to donkeys callin with rags, chasin and sukin out . i watched most of the vids here over and over and yes i have become a better player tnx to atta and the gang, but overall im still losing. saturday last week i deposited 10 bucks on full tilt ran it up to 49 bucks only to have a few horible sessions. my balance is 7 bucks. thats the norm for me, i never feel is if im ever guna win, its vey frustrating to make the right play over and over to lose by the river. ISNT POSSIBLE TO SAY THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST UNLUCKY????? I'm almost ready to give up the latest beat was my ak vs. 2 9 spades typical donk callin 3x raise out of position flopin bottom pair and callin down or i love this 1.....hero raises 3x , gets called down by oh say 66 and no matter whats on board donkey calls down and suks out. the beats r so often i dont even feel comfy holdin aces im just waitin for em to get cracked.. unfortunately im too addicted to this fucked up game to quit... UHHHHHHGGGGGGG. HEY NEXT TIME U GUYS HELP SOME1 HELP ME ...SORRY IM CRYIN BUT IM SICK OF THIS SHIT... juicyc loyal member for past year

just to give ya guys a little update the 7 bucks i had left is now 2 and change thanks to some donk. I'm unsure how to post the hands i played (or i should say lost lol) on here but here it was. FULL TILT 2/5 CENTS NLHE villain min raises to 10 cents from utg, button calls, s.b calls and I call from b.b holding 77 . * FLOP- 2 6 7 rainbow S.B CHECKS, HERO CHECKS, VILLAIN BETS 40 CENTS INTO 38 CENT POT, BUTTON AND S.B FOLD, HERO SHOVES (i had 6.67 at time of shove) VILLAIN CALLS HOLDING Q 8 OFF TURN-9 RIVER- 10 HERO LOSES $ 5.96 POT * I normally would repop villains opening raise but with button and s.b calling i just wanted to see flop. (I know i played hand preflop a bit soft ,wasnt in love with my 77 after two callers and an utg min-raiser) These types of beats happen to me more often than not, to where i almost expect it. believe me i wasnt shocked. How can ya ever expect to do well wen this happens routinely???. juicyc

hey hockey guy sorry i took soooo long to respond, no i dont have one i know i need one . i plan on getting holdem manager soon. i get where ur goin. i promise u im not a donk i dont chase, can lay down big hands, dont overplay or play too many hands i play tight aggressive,(a bit more on aggressive side)..Im very position, position orientated ect. I get it. U guys taught me alot over the past year and a half. i watched alot of the videos and get what u guys teach..I know ive been playin for only 18-20 months or so but i studied this game like its my job. by the way im a city employee(park and rec. dept) and bartend/cook 2 nights a week . my b-tendin money is for poker. Anyway, sorry im ramblin, im so frustrated..The norm for me is to sit at 2 tables sometimes 3-4. il have a few good sessions where im up (sit with 10 bucks) get up to 30-40 more or less and then have a session where I end up giving it all back and more. ya know flop a set of kings or aces and some guy call down my pot sized bets chasin some awful open ended garbage or flush draw or bottom pair and suk out. i dont even feel safe with aces. i lost more with em than i won..I dont get it either i never hit those draws. I know people tend to think they r better players than they actually r. so maybe i am a donk who spews off lol ha ha ha ha .. .hey man thanks for respondin to my initial bad beat story. just had to vent. u guys inspire me and i tell all of my friends who play, to join here. oh and mattutaylor was a great addition to the team.. well sorry to ramble ,I just feel like moosh in the bronx tale .everything he bet on he lost remember him??? at the race track lol
