Had a good week Won or chopped 4 out of 6 freeroll tournament at the club. Yesterday had a 1500 payday, winning a 100 buy in. I had a hand i would like some comment on. It was the first hand at final table. One big stack, to my lleft. Iknew all of the players. The guy with the big stack is very aggresive. He is on the button. I have AA. in middle position, it is check to me. My thoughts where. I need to get value out of this hand. If i raise i might not get a caller. if i raise to little I might get 3 or 4 callers. If I smooth call. I might get a raise from the big stack. His range in this situation is any 2 cards of value ,like suited connector etc. He did muck but the BB pushed allin. I doubled up. It turned out well but was that a good plan?????

Lets start a group with the interest of playing fulllring games in B & M. We could meet on skype. I just watched Hockey guys lastest vidio on 3 bet. Which i think would not apply in fullring games as played in our local casinos. I find the games very loose and aggresive. 3 betting like hockey guy showed in the vidio would be sucide. With lots of calling stations. These games sound easy but there not. The first thing you would say is play solid and aggresive when you have a good hand. There is much difference in the online games. I find at this site and other traing sites there is more on short handed games. And of course they are full ring in live. Maybe one of the coaches wuld like to join us. There is lot of interesting things happening in these game with loose and aggresive maniacs. Deep stacks . 10 or 12 K on the table. With no limit on buy ins. If anyone is interested contact me Thanks Frank

Iwas playing the 3pm tournament at Ceasar Palace. $70 buy in 20 minute level 31 entries. I was card dead played the first level and played no. Never seen a flop. Second level got pocket 8. flop came 227 rainbow and i took a stab at pot. Bet 250 got 2 callers and checked it down. Won 950 pot. Was moveed to another table and with very little action ended up as low stack at the final table.

Finally down to 6 players i am still low stack and down to 3100. Blind 1k 2k. I am in big blind and pot is raised large and a call. I muck 2 6 o. I am in small blind having 100 left in stack. My thoughts. One of the other short stack had less than a full blind. And the other had just over a full blind. I was going to fold my small blind if i didnt get playing cards ,But behold a great thing happen i go K9S. i called 1st short stack went allin second short stack went allin and button called Flopped a k and it hel up the button knocked out the 2 short stacks.

Wow

I am 4 place. They talkede about a chop big stack said no. Nect hand i double upabout 9000 chips. Than another miricle 3r place was knocked out. And then 2nd stack went up against big stack and lost now iam second. I really felt free . The first hAND I WENT ALLIN AND DUBLED UP.

It must of put him on tilt the next hand he called a allin with 28. (he was just playing with me)Now he is in trouble my heads up training from Matt taylor kicked in. I have 18000 to his 75000. Thank you Matt he didnt have a chance. First place pd 800 that makes the money i spent for HU train really cheap

Got back from Vegas 6 day stay. I went to play tournaments I played 16 cashed in 4 and got pd on 2 bubbles. Not bad but could have down much better. Sometimes i feel like the unluckiest poker player. Had my lshare of bad bets for sure. But even worse was the fact some where at the worst times. i also had 2 bubble tha i didnt get paid. I guess what i am saying i was ha;ppy about my play. I have a new catagory of bad beats. It is when donkeys call and you get beat. I had AA crack y someone in early position with a 2 4.The flop cam 224. Yes he call a raise. with 24. If it was oonline you would say he misclicked. I dont know why he called. Another early position guy beat me with 68. Flop was 579.

But the worst wasin a tournament with 6 player at final table. Now ther aRE 3 SHORT STACK 2 MEDIUM(ME) AND 1 big stack. It was a small tournament and the weakest final table i have ever seen and the big stack was the weakest player. The big stack was the big blind blinds wher 1k 2k. Early low stack shoved about 2500 check around to big blind he tourned over his cards and said your not going to sucker me into playing and oipen his hand K 9 s. Now ther was 7100 in pot and some one said to him you should have called you getting such good pot odds. His replly was No i am not even getting even money becaues in doing the math you dont count my money.DAH.

So knew he waqs not going to help The next hand one of the shorter stacks shoved i had KK. Happy days are here. He turns over QQ. flop comes Qxx. turn comes K. River Q.

Now that is a bad beat. But some of the beats where some one makes a donkey call and is rewarded hurts More. Next i will tell you about a sucsess.

I have been busy. About time i report. I have finished my coaching session with Mattr. They where very interesting. I would recommend matt for HU for sure. He said i was a god student and was ready for 20 to 50 dollar matches. I tried and pretty much failed.\

What i found was that there are excellent player at all levals. I also found when i picked people to colar code based on there ability and record. that the nmber of player you would meet randonly when you sigh up would be more of the better player. I expect this is because the better player play more games. To make a loong story short i can not compete well at any leval.

So now i am playing at the 10 leval. I am colar coding the player using sharkscope as my guide. I colar all the winning player RED and the Losing player BLUE. So very simplly i wait to join until i see someone sigh up and if the are3 red i dont . If they are i go.

I have evendence that something like this is common. When you see a read colored player sghn up you very often see him sit there for some time and another red player will sigh up on another site. You also see blue player sighn up and another player is waiting for himSo art this time i am pleased with my progress and am increasing my bankroll aftrer some downswing.

If any one is interestied in more information on what i am doing give me a call. Frank
