Roadto6maxNL100$. Over 900$!

January 1, 2012, 3:36 pm

Hi all!

Had a nice day today. A gain of 130$. Standing on 903$. Feeling really nice. Im feeling that I have a nice control of almost everything that happens at the table. Been playing only 800 hands today, about 2 hours, playing 6 tables. Work early tomorrow. Need some sleep.

I have some nice examples of hands I liked today and I want to do those things abit more.

In one of the hands I was up against a regular I have alot of hands on. Aggressive on flop. I did try to steal the BB from SB with T9o. He did call. Flop came 2J6 rainbow. VERY dry. (Pot 1,42$). I did bet half pot.  He did raise to 2,40$. (Pot 4,53$). I thought that he also thinked that this flop was very dry and in position he could do a move. I did reraise him to 6,64$. (Pot 10,46$). He folded.

Another hand is this one. I called in BB with Ah5h against two limped opponents. A fish and a regular. The fish in SB. Flop came Kh-4s-Th. Fish did check and I did check, I dont think they both would fold on this flop if I would bet it. The regular who acted last did bet half pot. I got suspicious that he did just bet half pot. If he had a hand he should bet higher. I know he know these things. Pot was 2,34$ and he did bet 1,17$. The fish did fold and I did call. I could reraise here aswell. On the turn Kh-4s-Th-Tc he also bet half pot 2,34$. I thought that I prob could get away with a low reraise cause of his half pot bets. I did make it up to 5,85$ and he did fold. If he would have called and a flush would have hitted I would have a hard decision if he would shove. Im thinking of KT. But on the other side that hand he must protect more than with a half pot bet on flop on that drawy board. Conclusion. I did feel weakness and made a move with a draw to the highest flush. I do more and more moves like this against the regulars when I observe their bet sizing. Feels like a nice thing to be able to do.

Now its bedtime! Feel free to comment my play! If there are other thoughts I would love to hear!

Good night! Good luck at the tables everyone!

Johan
