Hey guys,

I'm back again with more news on my venture into the cash game world. Ok, so for one reason and another, I decided not to play solely cash but more mix in some cash games with my regular SNGs. (Of which, again I've done really well in!)

As for the cash... well I've done exceedingly well. I went back from the 6 max games to HU cash. Now, I've played HU cash a lot before, and done well at .25/.50 HU over 30kish hands. At 1/2 HU, I have done well over a small sample size aswell, but, for some reason, I've never done well at .50/1 and I decided to try and put things right.

My Holdem manager has been playing up quite a bit recently, and thus over the past month, all my recorded stats on there have been reset due to me having to re-install. But all of the stats collected for the .50/1 level are from the past 3 days, when to say the least I have been crushing it.

Firstly the stats...

1614 Hands, $1125 Profit with 68.91bb/100. LOL.

Small sample size, I know. But still. LOL.

The Majority of this coming from one guy on Friday, who I shall not name just in case he see's this, but he was pretty awful. I've played him before and think I've done ok against him. But on friday I crushed him. We played 1 table for about 4 hours. After 2 hours, I was up 400-100 before a pretty meh hand where I had QhJh and called his 3 bet pre. His 3b % was around 28 so as you can imagine, there was a lot of meta-game strategy going on.

The flop came Th9x4x. I managed to get it all in and he called with AQo, and held out. He managed to get up to around 250 again, leaving us both around the same and I decided to take a break for 30 mins or so. When I came back, I crushed him. Just completely crushed him. So much so that 2 hours later, I left the room with $1,006 from him. Personally, the most I have ever won from one player at .50/1.

So good stuff!! Anyway, that is all, but I thought I would post some of the big hands for you!

Hey guys,

well it's about time I got a blog started dont you think? And what better time to do so. I've made the decision, that I'm going to attempt the transition from tournament poker to cash games.

I'm using holdem manager (At last! I've had it for about a year and found no real use in it!) and also my trusty friend table ninja to play up to 18 tables of small stakes 6 max to start.

I'm hoping to put in around 10k hands at .10/.25 and .25/.50 before moving on up. This isn't a case of bankroll management, but purely experience.

I began on saturday actually just playing 4 tables of .25/.50 with very good results. Over 478 hands I was up $226.85. My VP was 24% and PFR was 17%, to go with a 3b percentage of 4.3%.

Now I think I can look to maybe get that 3b% up a little more, but pretty happy with the VP and PFR.

Some solid pots I won inclued me with KcQx in a 3 way pot from the cutoff vs an UTG raise . The flop came 2cQc2x and checked around. I bet 2.25. The big blind raises to 6, original raiser folds and I call. The turn bought a seemingly blank 10h. He bets $12 into $16 and I'm really struggling to put him on a real hand here other than KQ for the split. I think I sometimes see AQ here but not too often as it seems a good spot to squeeze from the BB. The river was the 6c and my opponent ships 30 into 40. Again here, I think about him maybe playing a draw aggresively, but see it highly unlikely due to the paired board and his turn lead. I timebank and call to see my opponent show 88.

Anyway, gonna be updating this very regularly and who knows? Maybe even a video here or there.

Peace
