Re: +EV Play?

I am definetly not there either, and I don't doubt what Tim is saying to be true. i guess I just dont understand the long turn ev in this situation. I mean if you know the guy is aggressive and is apt to double barrel why not try to end it on the flop? 77 is vulnerable to 7 other starting hands that...

Re: +EV Play?

Only reason I suggested a chk raise on the flop was to at least figure out if 77 was good at the time or not. I still have some learning to do I know, But I just can't see chking and calling all the way like that never really feeling sure. At the micros it seems most players get scared off when you ...

Re: +EV Play?

Not really an expert, but I can certainly see your line of thinking in the hand. The guy ended up having a hand none of us would have probably expected. But still..... maybe just calling on the river when you dont have the nuts is the better idea here. Actually, a check raise on the flop may have sp...

Re: Recommended Poker sites

Ya I think if you are consistantly profitting without rakeback, why change what you are doing. But if you are close to breakeven or perhaps losing some, rakeback is all the difference in the world and it would be a lowdown dirty shame to not be getting it. If you are winning and collecting rakeback ...

Hey,

You can still use Hem at Carbon right? I'm having trouble importing and getting the HUD running. Can anyone lend a hand?

Re: beating bad beats

hopefully u have holdem manager or the likes. look back and track all your AA hands you ever played. Usually, i suspect it would show overall you are up. The trouble for us is we generally expect to win vs KK or AK ect and when we don't, it really stings a bit and more or less gets etched into our m...

Holdem manager

I have been doing well winning many small pots at the 6 max tables. I have logged in many hours, sessions and hands and feel like I am playing pretty good poker. I have noted some occasions where I did it wrong but overall I feel confident in my thinking process. The real trouble that I think I have ...

Re: Kings are the Devil

I used to feel the same way. I really thought I was losing money with KK and even AA. Seemed like no matter which I had the other guy would nail it on the flop. Later to comfirm my belief that I was losing with these hands and very unlucky I went into holdem manager and did some minor hand filtering...
