Re: stat ranges

vpip 20 -30 pfr 15 - 20 cbet flop 60 - 80 fold to cbet 40-50 3bet 4-8 Fold to 3bet 50-60 WTSD 23-27 The AF stats you have to be careful with. If someone has a vpip of 60 and pfr of 5, but has a river aggression factor of 1.0 or higher it will mean they're bluffing a lot. If someone has vpip 20 - pfr...

Re: how many?

It's really difficult to say. You will need a few thousand hands on a player before a lot of turn and river stats become useful. And 4 bet/5bet preflop stats too. I guess that once you have a sample of 100 for stats like flop cbetting you will be able to get a fairly accurate read on a players flop ...

Re: 2 hands for people to take a look at and give thoughts on.

My mate played these hands. Hand 2 was butchered pretty bad. Hand 1 is interesting because of the way he played it. I agree that not betting the turn is bad but i guess he was just wanting to mix it up. What do you think of the fact that he overbet the river? From experience vs tags at 50nl do you t...

Re: Can't make any headway

I've generalised here mate. There is lots of inbetween players. Splashy 50/13 players do crazy stuff so i wont fold vs them neither. All you can do is stick to the generalisations and when you see something out of line, like a player you thought was a nit raise with an underpair, or a lag, smooth ca...

Re: Can't make any headway

It's all player dependant mate. If you get raised when you have AA on a T83s board vs a nitty guy who has a vpip of 10 and a pfr of 6% then you're more than likely toast vs a set. If it's a loose passive playing 50% of hands vpip and 2% vpip and aggression factor of about 0.5% on the flop and he rai...

Re: Can't make any headway

Do you use Hold Em Manager or Poker Tracker? These are good tools for reviewing our play. I'm pretty sure there is video being released real soon here on OP which is all to do with how best to analyze hands. It can seem pretty boring reviewing hands up to actually playing, but it's really rewarding ...

Re: Any experience with Muchos Poker?

Grinding 50nl and some 100nl. It's going good. Which country are you living in?
You want to try PKR, you would smash it.

Re: Can't make any headway

Hand reading and making accurate assumptions at the table improve with work done away from the table.
How much time do you spend reviewing hands or working on aspects of your game?
What stakes do you play?

Re: Any experience with Muchos Poker?

Did you try out Muchos poker yet? I've used them, they're pretty good. It's pretty complicated though with all the networks on one platform. And beware of the rake structure on Everleaf and Enet. it's 6% rather than the standard 5% and also, rather than a maximum rake of about $3 like most sites it'...
