Re: Hi

Hi guys, Sorry for the late reply Frank. Your idea is good I think. I'm on holiday at the moment and the internet connection here sucks but when I get back home we can setup a session. I do also like the idea of recording a session and then we can talk about it. I have a server where we can put the ...

Re: My shortest tournament ever

Good points guys! I do play some MTT's per month as well with different buy-ins and it's good to know that this type of play is not as usual when the MTT involves real money. At the same time I do see a lot of maniacs in the first number of blind levels where the MTT has option to re-buy in the firs...

Re: Widge777

Hi all, I would also say that raising with any hole cards is not the same as calling with the same hole cards. If I raise with KT on the button and I get a caller I can play the hand, but if I'm facing a raise from UTG with my KT on the button, I would probably fold. My calling range has to be stron...

Re: Poker rooms (£)

Hi Matt, Bet365 is as far as I know part of the iPoker network and should be supported by all poker tracking software like Holdem Manager, PokerTracker 3 and Poker Office 5. The only HH converter I know of for the iPoker network is this one: http://www.talking-poker.com/hands/converter.aspx Hope thi...

Re: My shortest tournament ever

Yeah, what can you do. But I mean if I can't play my good hands like AK then I don't know. I hate to slowplay it and limp in with it or just call and see the flop. Folding was not an option there.

Cheers,
Kris

My shortest tournament ever

I just played a freeroll and my first hand was AKo. Two limpers and a raise. I 3bet, the guys shoves and I call. I was expecting at least a pair or AK, AQ or some sort of strong hand. Instead I see the guy has 68s. The board: 6632K  THE END Tournaments are tough to play, especially if it's poss...

Re: My badrun/badstreak at microstakes. Bad luck or bad play?

I kind of thought you were from Sweden. Not many Johan elsewhere I think :) Poker is sick most of the times I think. Like today I was playing for over 4 hours and at first I was down a few buy-ins, then worked my way up again to even steven, then down a bit again. Really no hands what so ever. When ...

Re: My badrun/badstreak at microstakes. Bad luck or bad play?

Btw, I was railbirding a 6-max NL2000 game the other day and this guy joins the table with full buy-in. In his first hand he raises all-in preflop. I thought, what a stupid play, he just advertised his pocket AA and he will probably not going to get called. But he did get 2 calls. I was like WTF??!!...

Re: My badrun/badstreak at microstakes. Bad luck or bad play?

Hi Johan! Can't say much about your play without some HH samples but as you are aware you are loosing a lot of money in the SB and BB. I had the same problem, too much calling and playing out of position, especially in the SB. Of course your SB and BB will show some loss sometimes when your premium ...
