Re: Video 106 - 108

Apologies for all of the background noise, just a quick explanation... Basically me and my girlfriend have just got our own house. The computer is in the living room + she currently doesn't have a job so she is here all day. Other than kick her out of the house for 1 hour a week whilst i record, the...

Re: India and China

My only experience of chinese players is pretty bad actually... I know there are a ring of them on stars colluding in the low/mid stakes double or nothing games, and also a few months ago something was bought up regarding them playing some kind of game like triple draw or something on stars, somehow...

Re: Stuck Bankroll

It happens man, its a big thing of poker these break even stretches. Take a look at my sharkscope and you'll see for the past 5 weeks or so my overall profit from sngs has been around $40k constantly and I'm just struggling to get over that point. It could be worse though, it could be a losing strea...

Re: New challenge... Ideas wanted!

Hmmmmm... ye I'm thinking along the lines of MTT SNGs too... I mean, I can 12 table without Table Ninja & I have good results in MTT SNGs at all levels... in fact lemme list them, starting with 45 mans $6 level - 397 $1 $6 20% $517 (games played, profit per game, av buy in, ROI, total profit) $1...

Re: New challenge... Ideas wanted!

The problem with that is the same as griding small stakes cash games... I still have to make a living and the time taken to get from freerolls to small stakes sngs would be about 2 weeks i think :/

New challenge... Ideas wanted!

Ok so you may remember a couple months ago I did a heads up sit n go bankroll challenge, where I turned a standard $100 deposit into over 2k pretty easily. Off site, I actually had a challenge in the month of july to make $10k from $55 hu sngs along with the 280fpp satellites to the sunday 1/4 mill ...

Re: My shortest tournament ever

[quote="kcapson" At the same time I do see a lot of maniacs in the first number of blind levels where the MTT has option to re-buy in the first hour. Players take big risks to double up because they know that they can always re-buy if it doesn't work out. I see some re-buy like 5-6 times d...

Re: My shortest tournament ever

Much like hockeyguy said really... the only thing I'll add is that freerolls are not normal poker at all.

Much like playmoney games, they are really no judge as to how well you will fare at real money tables and games.

Your much better depositing $50 and seeing what you can do

Re: HM for HU play

I had some issues with this a while back too and in the end gave up trying to use HEM hud... as for advice, I would say don't rely as much on the numbers you are given in comparison to full ring / 6 max games. This is even more important if you already have stats on the guy you are playing as these ...
