bankroll reuired per table

Postby buggy » Sun Oct 24, 2010 10:01 pm

Hi team!

I was wondering what approach people had when determining how many tables to play on in a session. Do you judge it by bankroll or just by comfort?

For example should you have so many buyins per table (20buyins = 2 tables, 30=3 etc.)

in theory if 20 buyins is enough to play your choesn stake level it doesnt matter whether you play 1 table 20 times or 20 tables 1 time the chances of goin broke are the same, in reality the more tables you play at once the farther you get from your "A" game and therefore increaese your chances of going broke.

The most important thing is to make sure you are comfortable and are not playing scared regardless of how many tables and whatever portion of your bankroll you have in action and you are comfortable playing at whatever number of tables at once

for instance if i had 200 br i would be comfortable having my entire br in action playing 20 tables of 10nl, except that i do not enjoy and do not play well at that many tables at once
