Bigbetpoker merge

Postby JimmyChances » Fri Feb 04, 2011 6:11 pm

A few months ago I put some money into bigbetpoker, not much as I was just trying to clear a promotion. Unfortunately halfway thru the promotion I was told the site was closing down and so I had to go about withdrawing my money which has proven to be very difficult. First they told me they couldnt just send the money back to the credit card that I had used originally I needed to use a moneybookers or neteller acc to withdraw. So I set up a moneybookers acc and was told that moneybookers couldnt be used now. Their support team told me to get my money I had to photocopy an itemized bill, my passport, the front and back of my credit card and then fill out a credit card authorization form and send that to them. They didnt send me this form so I enquired as to its whereabouts. They told me to check my spam and its not there. So I emailed again and was told they would send another. Waited a couple of days emailed them to ask if they had sent it. They said yes and that I should check my spam! Going round in circles with these piss takers. Glad its not a lot of money but that's not the issue. Not even sure what my next course of action should be. Tried calling their support team and the phone line was basically inaudible. Ive been told that merge can be crap when it comes to withdrawals. Anyone else had any issues? Never had this trouble with any other site. - disgruntled.

Wow! that is scary! I have almost all my money on two Merge skins. Not a huge amount but I would hate to lose it. Keep us posted.

Thanks

Perhaps have a go with Neteller? I have set up an account there and so far I find them professional and everything works.

i will definately be using neteller from now on.
this issue has dragged on for so long that i've moved house in the process of sorting this all out.
now they wont pay me because my new address details don't match my old details.
moneybookers is one of the official ways they will release money but they have said moneybookers can't be used and given me no official reason for this.

surprised they didn't ask for a hair and blood sample too!!! What was scary was when they asked for all your information, passport and all.
