HG or anybody,

How do you configure HEM to work with Bodog?
I can't seem to find the hand history folder anywhere. -JC

well unfortunately, Bodog doesn't save hand histories as .txt files so you have to buy a second program to get HEM to run. The program costs $50, but you can get a free trial for 1000 hands before you decide to buy. It's located on this website: http://www.idleminer.com . It kind of sucks that you have to pay another $50, but it'll pay for itself 100X over time so I don't mind it.

If you haven't already bought HM try a trial of Poker Tracker 3
Free 60 day trial and has an automatic hand miner.
Probably not quite up to the standard of HM but a 60 day trail is easily enough to decide...

Hey, thanks for that. I'm using the Idle Miner hand grabber. Just the one 2 hour session on Bodog
brought me a 5 Buy In winning session. The play is so weak there. i just hope most of my hands continue to hold up.
I played for 3 months on europoker, thousands of hands and barely caught a break. Has anyone else been a winning player on most sites but then continues to have a massive problem with one particular site?

Well I've only tried PartyPkr and BDog and I've made more in two days on BD than I ever did at PP.

the number 1 reason Bodog games are so soft is the overall passivity of the games. i was always able to beat the micro games at bodog before i came to OP. but not so much the other sites where players are more aggressive. I learned how to play better and what mistakes typical opponents make at the micros so i can now beat 100nl at all sites, but just at a significantly better winrate on bodog.

the moral of that story is if you play passively you are easier to beat

as to the bodog HH issue, it sucks that idle miner bodog hand grabber is 50 bucks, but it totally pays for itself many times over so i think it is worth it in the long run

Hey guys, I've been considering getting back into the game and had a question about Bodog.

Have any of you ever tried to withdraw? I've known people that have used the sports betting part of the site for events like the super bowl and have won some money but were never able to get a withdrawal. Has anyone had any luck getting money off the site?

i have made several 4 digit withdrawls w/o trouble over past few years from bodog

i did make a recent withdrawl using Bodogs now defunct debit card system
long story short atfer card didnt work customer service addressed and fixed issue
after a simple e mail inquiry
they have discontinued debit card system as they card vendor/banker/middle guy was causing them and customers too much inconvenience
i have since completed the withdrawl in question directly to my bank acct w/o incident

i have always been very happy w/ bodog customer service when i have had any questions or concerns

i do think they have a minimum withdrawl amout, but it has not typically been an issue for me

hope that helps

I withdrew twice using their check by mail service. The check came in under a week. This was before the recent site shutdowns.

All right, thanks for the info guys. We'll see if I end up putting the money on the site, still deciding if I want to or not.
