Broke the 10000 hand marker

Postby BluffinPete » Sat Jul 24, 2010 12:38 pm

Kind of a cool milestone for me, I broke 10000 hands late yesterday evening. It was a bitter sweet milestone however, I got absolutely destroyed last night, I dropped everything I had made back in the last week and I am right back where I started last Friday. I have not had to reload or anything, but I feel like I take two steps forward and then I seem to be taken out back into the alley and worked over with lead pipe for a few hours.

I can't believe two things from looking over my session yesterday

1) How is it possible that these 42/39 jerk-offs can consistently take my money away? my guess is that I am tilting big time, I am pretty sure that getting stacked by total garbage made me careless

2) I played 976 hands and pretty much all the hands I lost, I played from the blinds, and they were marginal at best, having looked them over.

My continued stupidity makes all of you money :D

Insanity is simply defined as doing the same thing over and over, while expecting a different result.

Good session this morning, I am up a whopping $5.89 so the bankroll is moving in the right direction again, I played very positionally aware this morning and real or perceived, I sure felt like I was getting better hands.

A lot of those 42/39 guys out there. He may take our money but rest assure that he will loose all of it to someone else the same as they loose it to us some of the times. But I know what you mean about falling back. I have played about 4000 hands now in 9 days and I'm at -$1.03. Last night I was up $18 and just now I lost it. Fortunatelly this loss was 2 coolers, one which I lost AA vs. QQ all-in prf and he hit a set on the flop. So I don't feel bad about it. At least I'm break even. More to learn, more to gain :) Take a look at my lovely little graph for the past 9 days...
