Thanks for answers guys!

Yea, I was thinking about him having a diamond when I did bet the turn. If a king would hit the turn I guess I would just check and hope to go to showdown. Maybe bet just a little on the river to get called by smaller pairs if he would check to me. Like 1/3. Would this be ok? Probably he would call with only better? Naa, I guess I would give it up when a king would hit the turn. I didnt know anything about this guy either.

I will keep pasting "checks on the flop" hands. Nice to talk about I think!

A lot of times i get the feeling in some of the posts that in the effort to improve we ( i say we because i know this has been an issue for me) tend to get so focused on not making a mistake we get a little paralysis by analysis. One thouhjt that helped me alot from Atta22 videos is to stop being obsessed w/ playing perfect poker. By that i don't mean that i dont care whether i make bad plays, but that i am willing to experiment a bit to see if i can get a possible worse hand to call when i have QQ by betting 1/3 pot when a K hits on river and being prepared to fold if i get raised. But mostly not beating myself up too much when i do make a bonehead play or something doesnt work out well. The thing i found is when i do make a bone head play is that i remember it for a long time so i dont typicallly repeat it which ends up helping my overall play become consistently better. I also found that by trying different things i discover what type of opponent it might better or not so good against in the future.

Again my goal isnt to make bad plays so i remember, but to experiment and trust my read/instinct/gut and make a tough laydown, a tough call, or make an extra value when the chances i am ahead are thinner. You need to be able to do these things to improve, and i learned best by trying/testing/experimenting in different situations. No one plays perfect, and microplayers make so many bad plays it is not a big deal if you return the favor occassionally. So relax and have fun and i think your play will improve and you will enjoy the ride more. I know that was the case for me.

Yeah the real secret to making a lot of money is to sit at a game with a couple noobs who don't mind donating their money.

I know. It really feels best when Im experimenting, learning and having fun. Laughing at things etc. Atm im focusing alot on beeing aggressive on the CO and BTN against the right opponents. It really feels fun to be that aggressive. In the last 5500 hands I have played (since I started with this focus) I have a VPIP/PFR of 26/22 and a 3bet of 9%. A small sample but a big difference from the period a time before. 39% pfr from BTN and 15% from UTG (5max). Fun poker! The difference now compared when I was this aggressive before is that Im reading hands better and think alot more about my position. Feels nice :)

Hi again!

I made a ok play today I guess, where I did check the flop. Im still trying to develop my skills in this subject of "checking the flop when no worse hand would call".

Villian:
700 hands
VPIP/PFR: 19/13
3bet: 2%
Streetaggression (flop,turn,river): 5,2,2
Fold BB to steal: 85%
Fold to Cbet: 38%
Fold to DB: 33%

Im stealing ALOT of blinds from this guy. Im open raising 2,5 BB from the BTN all the time and just getting him to fold almost every time. He do not seem to adapt.

Button (€2.32)
Hero (SB) (€20.61)
BB (€10)
UTG (€9.30)

Preflop: Hero is SB with QImage, 2Image
2 folds, Hero bets €0.25, BB calls €0.25

Flop: (€0.50) 6Image, 6Image, QImage (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Here I did thought that I wanted to check cause he would only call with a better hand. But when I think about it he could call with hands like 77-JJ aswell (no 3b pf). Stronger Queens for sure. He have a low "fold to cbet". Perhaps even lower pairs? If he would bet I could call and revaluate on turn? I also wanted to keep the pot small.

Turn: (€0.50) JImage (2 players)
Hero bets €0.25, BB calls €0.25

I see now I should bet this turn bigger? Atleast 3/4 pot. I was hoping him having some kind of jack and was going to call me. All other worse hands would fold? I was not afraid of a queen anymore cause of his check on flop.

River: (€1) 3Image (2 players)
Hero bets €0.40, BB calls €0.40

Good card for me if he have a jack. Here I could also bet more. I guess I was afraid of loosing him. But I guess if he made that 1/2 call on turn he would do atleast that big call on the river?

Total pot: €1.80 | Rake: €0.09

Results:
Hero had QImage, 2Image (two pair, Queens and sixes).
BB didn't show
Outcome: Hero won €1.71

(I couldnt see his hand.)

What about this flop check and the rest?

I like to bluff these boards so I would probably bet the flop when i hit 2 pair. Then I'd check behind on the turn and call/bet river. That line works too though, but I think you need to bet a bit bigger.
