HUD stats

I forgot to ask.... What is the difference between a pfr ep or raise first ep. In other words, does it matter if I use pfr stats or raise first stats?

Another question. Using poker stove with the HUD.

IE I am in the cut off and I hold AJs. I make a standard PFR X 4. The guy on the BB 3bets me. I recall he has done this more than once, either to me or from the LB.

So my question is, which stat on my HUD should I consider to use on Poker stove to see if my hand does ok in his range? For most of you , it's too simple I know. Sorry for the dumb ?????

the raise first ep is when villian is the open raiser, for instance utg folds and next guy opens pot w a raise

the pfr ep would include the above plus if utg limped, next guy limps it folds to bb who raises, then guy in second position raises when action gets back to him

notice the first raiser stat is way more common action than the limp/raiser or a raise/4bet scenario

i use first raise stats, this better reflects his opening range which is what i want to know when i am deciding to 3bet, fold, or call
note- call is my least common result, i typical 3 bet or fold

not a dumb question

i use the 3 bet % stat on my holdem manager hud, it shows the total % the villian has 3 bet without seperating it by position
HM also has the 3 bet % by position stats availible, but i think that gets to be too many numbers on the screeen
besides we know most 3 bets will be in late positon or from the blinds so i think the total % is fine
also since 3 betting is a less common action it would take a very long timme for the 3 bet % by position to give meaningful trends,
and when it did it would almost certainly show most 3 bets from LP or in blinds

bottom line if villian 3 bet% is 2%, plug 2 % into stove and see that range is aa kk qq jj ak and beware

fyi- same logic applies to fold to 3 bet stats
