Multi-tabling with dealt rakeback.

If you play on a site like full tilt where the rakeback is dealt. Doesnt it make sense to multi table at 9 handed tables rather than 6 handed tables so that, if your playing a tight style, the blinds go through you less?

its got to depend on your style of play you have to be tighter at 9max tables anyway so there much less action and variance so there easier to beat aswell i find but not as much fun.

In the dealt method the amount raked gets divided by the number of players at the table who were dealt a hand, even if they fold preflop. This amount is added to your MGR or Monthly Gross Revenue (and fyi in contributed, the rake collected is divided between the players who put money in the pot, so if you folded preflop you get nothing).

So in theory if you fold every hand except the blinds, you'd generate the same amount of rake per orbit, whether it's 6max or full ring. But at the same time, the tighter you play, the more of your MGR is generated when you fold preflop, so if you really want to play tight, then yes, you could potentially generate slightly more playing 12/10 at full ring compared to playing 12/10 at 6max since you're not losing blind money as often. I don't think it'd be enough of a difference to really worry about.
