Number of Tables

Postby Stones87 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 9:48 am

Hello Tim.
I play now for a while and it's working out pretty well so far. Normally i do play 6 tables at the same time. I'm wondering if it would be profitable to play more than 6 tables? Or do you think that's not a good idea? And how many tables are u playing at the same time?

I'd play whatever number you are comfortable with. If you are just starting, I recommend 1 or at the most two, since you should be thinking a ton about each hand and why you are making each move (even something as simple as folding preflop).

I play usually 6 tables at a time, sometimes more or less. But understand that adding more tables can sometimes lower your overall hourly winrate since you lose focus on your decisions on each table. So be careful!
