PROFITABLE RANGES AND POSITION

Hey everyone,
i have been doing some off table range and position analysis after some thing i read about a pfr in cutoff w/ JTo not being much +EV got me curious. So i went and looked and that led to a look at where the +EV line was for me at the different positions and this is what i found for my results at 50 nl only where i put money in the pot. Obviously the better your post flop play the wider range of hands you can play

50NL ALL HANDS ASSUME VPIP=YES

First positions Utg +
AA-TT +EV- overall profitable as a group
99-22 –EV overall NOT profitable as a group for me

KJs+EV overall profitable as a group
ATo+EVoverall profitable as a group
That’s basically all I open early

Utg+1
AA-66 +EV overall profitable as a group

KJo+EV overall profitable as a group
ATo+EV overall profitable as a group

That’s basically all I open early

More interestingly is how far to widen opening pfr range as position improves

CO
AA-22 +EV
QJo+ +EV
KJo +EV
ATo +EV
No real surprises yet

T9s-76s, J9s-86s, Q9s J8s- BREAK EVEN
T9o-76o, J9o-86o, Q9o J8o- +EV 6 BB/100H

A9s-A5s, K9s-K7s, Q9s Q4s- +EV 212 BB/100H

A9o-A5o, K9o-K8o +EV 0 BB/100H- interesting

BUTTON
AA-22 +EV
QJo+ +EV
KJO+EV
ATO+EV
T9s-76s, J9s-86s, Q9s J8s- +EV 74BB/100H
T9o-76o, J9o-86o, Q9o J8o- +EV 24BB/100H

A9s-A2s, K9s-K2s, Q9s Q4s- +EV 110BB/100H

A9o-A2o, K9o-K6o, Q9o-Q8o- +EV 26 BB/100H

toward the end here i decided to include the bb/100 results which show that the times i played the "weaker" hands were still qutie profitable. BUT remember to be selective to about who is in the blinds when raising light. i.e. tight players that rarely defend or call flop Cbets

OTHER RAGGY SooTED 3+ GAPPERS J4s, 56s etc- EV 0 BB/100H BUTTON AND CO
OTHER RAGGY NON SooTED 3+ GAPPERS - EV 2 BB/100H BUTTON AND CO

I know Tim has an article outlining opening pfr range and position posted, i havent had a chance to compare my results w/ his suggestions and didnt want this post to get too long. i just thought it was interesting that JTo is not that much +EV in cutoff as i would have expected that led to a wider analysis of range vs position. Hopefully this is interesting info and food for thought.
