Should i have just called from the BB or was the 3bet to take charge of the hand ok?
Once he called me on the flop I got a bad feeling and was thinking a set or overpair but maybe my thinking was wrong.
he called the flop bet very quick. And he didnt seem to take much time when i checked to him on the turn.
I didnt want to face another big bet on the river and decided to fold and wait for a better spot.
I hadnt seen him bluff and didnt see him bluff after. I don't see this type of opponent leading with AK/AQ on the turn neither
i think he would have checked to try spike his A or K or Q.
Anyones thoughts on this hand and my fold would be good.

thanks.

No 3 bets or 4 bets so far from this guy over a small sample but i expect he would have pushed preflop
AA or KK at least.

You showed a hell of a lot of dicipline; a skill that I am still learning, one of my biggest faults is I don't know when to get away from a hand and it costs me a lot of money. I need to start listening to that little voice that says "get out"; seems to me you listened. Good for you.

No point in speculating, you got out, all you can do at that point is wait for the next opportunity.

I would prefer to just call with pocket TT. His PFR is 15% and he did call your 3bet so I would probably put him on pocket JJ-QQ. With KK-AA he would have 4bet you or shoved preflop. To bluff you of the pot on the turn with AK, AQ in a 3bet pot would be a pretty strong move by him. He looks like a pretty tight aggressive player to me. His WTSD is high but his W$SD is also good, around 50% which tells me he only goes to showdown when he's confident he has a strong hand. I think this is a good fold. The turn really is the turning point and it's where players loose most of their money.
