Hello, I found this site yesterday watching some videos on youtube and it looks very interresting.
I've registered and gave a try to ur free videos but there's no sound, is that normal?
Maybe there's none for some reason when u dl it but I can't confirm this and compare the streaming ones cuz adobe keep giving me an error, and when I try to fix this by automatically dling what's lacking, it says there's nothing more to dl, that everyone is fine. well ok, triing to dl new adobe manually, it change nothing, dling quicktime, ur videos dont work with this anyway....

so these r my questions : the sound on free videos is cut?

thx for the reply and the nice informations.
I ran some stream videos using internet explorer, it automatically use windows media player.
well now I know exactly what's the problem, and it's not surprising to me since I know that from the version 11 ALOT of ppls r complaining about windows media player 11 + and all bugs and troubles with it.

exemple : the time I shared my computer library with my xbox 360, my whole Ram was drained by windows media player even when it wasn't running ( 4gb...)
another exemple : when I installed full tilt poker and every songs where not working...
after searching for information the only things I could find was things related to the quality of the .mp3 sounds. so ok Tried some configs with sounds drivers, converting the sound quality into another, wasn't working at all, and the weirdest thing is that I resolved this problem by opening windows media movie managing or something like that, and boom the full tilt poker sound was working...

all this to say that windows media player 11+ is a mess.

ill try to run the downloaded video with another video player, ill tell if this work.

apparently the file is in a windows media player format so I can't play it with another player.
when running the video with media player I can see that its working cuz in the sound device manager I see the level of sound received but I hear nothing, and yes my sound work cuz all my musics are working with media player.
I really don't know what's wrong...
maybe I should contact windows ?
or try to convert the video format into something else ?

I found the problem!!!!
my speaker device was set to 5.1 sound so I changed it to stereo (the most standard) and everything is working on the vids

so if someone else has a similar problem it may be more simple then u think
