Hockeyguy Rocks!

Postby cliff48 » Tue Nov 24, 2009 6:57 pm

I just want to express my thanks to Hockeyguy on his great videos. Very well constructed in content and he is easy to understand. His thought process is invaluable. Just finished #2 in the latest series and laughed myselft silly at his frustration (felt like my own) when he could not catch a break and then won two stacks when he was ending his session. Great site and worth twice the money.

I am glad you enjoyed the video and i appreciate the kind words, it certainly was nice to catch the set of 777 to end the videos as it was quite frustrating that session, but i guess that just shows patience is a virtue.

I have a few more videos in process/planned that show how tables dynamics affect your play as well as a series on how play changes a bit each stake level as you move up, is there any area you are interested in that i could try to cover in a future video? If so please let me know as i have a couple weeks off for christmas and should have time to do so.

thanx and gl

Juicy,
thanks for kind words and the tip on the mic, i will make it stays farther away while i yap. Have your results improved from previous post?
I hope so, i know the beats are aggravating especially a bunch grouped togethor, but patience will get the $$$$ back with interest.

I concur with juicyc about the mic thing too. Otherwise a great job.

This may sound self explanitory, but could you guys do some videos that focus more on reading the HUD? I mean, reading and evaluating the stats that you have. I would like to know that I am interpreting them correctly under verying situations.

yes they have!!!!!!!! tnx for askin and i owe it to u guys!!!! I have been playin .5/.10 nl and sitting with the max 10 bucks,i have been walking away with an average of 20-30 bucks per session. I havent had a losin session in about 8 or nine times... omg!!!!! I have been playin exactly how u guys have taught ty soooooo much!!!! I have been playin tight aggressive, and really payin much better attention to detail,( players hand ranges, adjusted my hands according to position and really thinkin on every move..I'm excited and confident for the first time on cash table. (for now until i go on downswing lol)....b4 i came here i played too many hands, and didnt go through the thought processes that r needed, tilt off money ect. I realize downswings and badbeats r going to happen but i am playin much better tnx to outstanding poker...Looking forward to more vids GL ALL ON THE FELT!!!
Tnx again guys,

FYI-i am planning another video on using the stats for basic hand reading very soon
