  • This is the reason I love this site and why I think you are awesome Tim. You care of your members! Well done. However, I have to admit since it was awhile ago I sent the video, it feels like my game have changed abit. I also think I with purpose played too tight with my 3bets and such cause I didn't want to do any stupid misstakes when I knew I was going to send it to you! However, if someone is interested, I will write a full report of what I learned from the video, and also how my game is today compared to how I played here (since it's a few months old) on my blog here at OP when I got time. Thank you again Tim P.S Ba-la-lajka... It's a kind of guitar ;)

  • Great video. would be good to see more of this kind of format.

  • I think making stupid mistakes are important as part of the learning process. If you're not making a spewy 3-barrel all in sometimes that doesn't work then you aren't exposing yourself to new situations and ways to improve as a player. Obviously it's a fine line between being aggressive and reckless but especially at microstakes, I wouldn't be too worried about never making a mistake - I would be most concerned with making sure that you learn from each mistake and improve your game from it as much as possible.

  • Great video. Very interesting how you formulate your read without the advantage of the HUD stats. Some of the opponents had 3 stars under their name and Balalajka91 had 1 star. Can you explain the significance of this rating system and how are these stars achieved?
  • atta22
  • The stars are just showing the number of frequent player points (FPPs) each person has and their corresponding level - just PokerStars' loyalty program.

  • I agree with Jimmy, this format is very instructive. I'd like to see more vids in this style, perhaps at 50 or 100NL?
